The first round of the 9th Annual Riggs Open Golf Tournament was held at the traditional Brookview Golf Club . There were some very low gross scores shot... including Craig Steen with a 79, Bob Bush with an 82, and Mark Patterson with an 84.
The final round was held at the "home" course - Hollydale Golf Club . It was a day that saw Brent Riggs come from off of the pack to shoot a 76, and Mike Flom also played well and carded an 80, Craig Steen chimed in with a 76 of his own. It wasn't enough to stop Bob Bush, who shot a 75, from capturing his second straight Riggs Open title. Bob finished at 10 under his handicap! Brent (-5) finished in 2nd, Flom (-2) in 3rd, John Bevans (-1) finished in 4th, and Mark Patterson (+3) ended up in 5th place.
